The Anti-Black Friday movement is growing

Home goods giant IKEA just launched Green Friday to encourage thoughtful consumption and Danish sportswear manufacture Fusion joined the Anti-Black Friday movement by stating that there will be no Black Friday sale this year. According to Sustainable BrandsIKEA and Fusion is joining a growing number of brands that choose to forgo the historically most lucrative day in the fiscal year, instead encouraging their customers to be more thoughtful with their purchasing behaviors — or even not shop with them at all.
